Danielle Kennedy

Perelman School of Medicine

As an undergraduate, Danielle served as a Summer Research Intern for the Speranza Human Compassion Project where she supported the development of domestic violence intervention training modules for health care providers. Now a student in Penn’s Masters in Public Health program, and an intern at Lutheran Settlement House, Danielle gained academic experience in the field through an intimate partner violence course. She is now utilizing that knowledge for her capstone project in the MPH program. She plans to complete an outcome evaluation for a Teen Dating Violence prevention program to demonstrate its importance and effectiveness.
