Caitlin Axtmayer is pursuing her dual Masters of Social Work and Public Health at the University of Pennsylvania. As an undergraduate at Boston College, Caitlin studied Sociology and Women and Gender Studies and led sexual assault prevention trainings. Caitlin has since implemented recreational and creative arts programs in pediatric hospitals in New York. Caitlin also worked on a short-term basis in various capacities in El Salvador and plans to continue working with Latinx communities in the future. Through her MSW clinical placement, she currently provides case management services at Jane Addams Place, an emergency family shelter. Caitlin focuses her studies and practice on the intersection of preventive programming and trauma-informed response to sexual and relationship violence.
