Ana graduated from Dartmouth College in 2012, earning a B.A. in Geography with a minor in Government and a minor in Women’s & Gender Studies. While at Dartmouth, she became a Sexual Assault Peer Advocate, was a member of the Student Steering Committee of the Women’s & Gender Studies Program, and founded FemNEW (Feminist Network for the Exchange of Wisdom).She also studied at Charles University in Prague and was awarded a Rockefeller Center for Public Policy grant to research women's issues in public policy.
Ana is pursuing a Masters in Social Work (MSW) at Penn. Her coursework focuses on treating individuals who are processing trauma through the life cycle, with a focus on applying a trauma-informed lens to work with victims of gender-based and domestic violence and at risk-communities. She is working with grieving children and families through her clinical placement at The Center for Grieving Children in Philadelphia, PA.
