Ana graduated from Dartmouth College in 2012, earning a B.A. in Geography with a minor in Government and a minor in Women’s & Gender Studies. While at Dartmouth, she became a Sexual Assault Peer Advocate, was a member of the Student Steering Committee of the Women’s & Gender Studies Program, and founded FemNEW (Feminist Network for the Exchange of Wisdom).She also studied at Charles University in Prague and was awarded a Rockefeller Center for Public Policy grant to research women's issues in public policy.
Ana earned her Masters in Social Work (MSW) at Penn in May 2019. Her coursework focused on treating individuals who are processing trauma through the life cycle, with a focus on applying a trauma-informed lens to work with victims of gender-based and domestic violence and at risk-communities. She worked with grieving children and families through her clinical placement at The Center for Grieving Children in Philadelphia, PA. She also participated in the 40 hour Sexual Assault Counselor (SAC) Training offered by Women Organized Against Rape. After graduating, Ana moved to Southern California where she works as a clinical social worker.
